MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Hobbs Seniors' Club website. The Hobbs Seniors' Club (the Club) was created in June 2018, taking over the reins from the Roy G. Hobbs Seniors' Club des aînés, which operated for 18 years as a registered non-profit organization. The new Club now operates simply as a social club, run by seniors for seniors. We are a small but friendly and inclusive club for those 50 and older, steered by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Club operates out of the City of Ottawa's Roy G. Hobbs Community Hall, located in Orleans, but it is not a City of Ottawa service. We are completely independent, funded solely by our members through annual membership fees and nominal user fees (see below). We are pleased to note that the facility is fully accessible. Please note that all members must be able to show proof of at least three vaccinations.
Membership Fees: New members $10 (temporarily reduced from the regular fee of $20).
User Fees: $1 to $2 per class for members, or $3 to $4 for non-members, with the exception of Line Dancing at $6 for members, $8 for non-members.
Potlucks and special events will vary, depending on venue, theme, and entertainment.
